Bring PRC IDs to get free MRT rides, PHL professional workers reminded

Registered Filipino professionals who want to avail of free rides on the Metro Rail Transit (MRT-3) on Monday will have to bring their IDs.

The Professional Regulation Commission said this means "valid and updated" PRC IDs that are to be presented to the MRT-3 guards who will then issue boarding passes.

"Upon arrival at their destination, registered Filipino professionals shall surrender their boarding passes to the guards at the service gate before exit," it added.

In a news release, the PRC said it is coordinating with the Department of Transportation and Communications for the free MRT rides.

The PRC said the free MRT rides on June 16 is to mark the Professional Consciousness Week this year.

Free rides will be from 7 to 10 a.m., and from 5 to 8 p.m., it said.  — Joel Locsin /LBG, GMA News
