Sampaloc fire razes 15 houses

A fire razed 15 houses at the corner of Sikatuna and Legarda Streets in Manila's Sampaloc district Monday afternoon. No one was reported injured in the fire, radio dzBB's Glen Juego reported.

The fire, which started at 12:30 p.m. and reached the second alarm, disrupted traffic in the area before it was put out at about 1:30 p.m. Arson investigators are still determining what caused the fire. — Joel Locsin/DVM, GMA News
