DFA offers one-day passport processing for PWDs on Monday

In commemoration of National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation Week, the Department of Foreign Affairs will hold a one-day passport processing service for persons with disabilities.

The DFA said the one-day processing service will be held at the DFA-NCR East Satellite office at SM Megamall on July 20 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

"The passport fee is (P1,200.00). Prospective applicants can view the information on passport requirements atwww.dfa.gov.ph. Applicants are encouraged to accomplish their passport application forms beforehand," DFA said.

Meanwhile, the DFA said its regional consular offices in Metro Manila will provide a special lane on July 23 for PWDs.

This aims to coincide with the birthdate of Apolinario Mabini.

According to the DFA, the passport fee is P950, while a courier service is also available for an additional P120. — Joel Locsin/JDS, GMA News
