PUP-Manila classes suspended due to bomb threat
A bomb threat forced the suspension of classes at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines campus in Manila's Sta. Mesa district Tuesday noon.
Students streamed out of the PUP campus in Sta. Mesa after the class suspension was announced, radio dzBB's Carlo Mateo reported.
In a post on its Twitter account, the PUP said students and employees at the main campus were asked to evacuate the main building.

The dzBB report said an employee of the PUP Office of the President received a text message claiming a bomb was to explode in the campus.
PUP officials summoned police, who sent a bomb squad to the area. The bomb squad was inspecting the campus' main building as of Tuesday noon.
