4 hurt in car-motorcycle collision at Quezon Avenue-Banawe intersect

At least four people were injured in a collision involving a passenger car and a motorcycle in Quezon City before dawn Friday.

The incident occurred at the corner of Quezon Avenue and Banawe in Quezon City, with the car crashing and ending on its side, radio dzBB's James Agustin reported.

Two women were trapped inside the vehicle and were brought to a nearby hospital.

An official of Barangay San Jose said the car hit a motorcycle with two passengers, who were also injured.

Police are verifying information the car's driver may have been under the influence of alcohol and was speeding. — Joel Locsin/ELR, GMA News
