Metro Manila is among the areas affected by Typhoon Luis (Kalmaegi), which pounded Luzon with heavy rain since last weekend.
In a post on its Twitter account, the MMDA said that as of 6:25 a.m., the number coding is lifted "except in Makati City."
Makati City said it will implement number coding on Monday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

On Monday, motorists whose vehicles have plate numbers ending in 1 and 2 may go through almost all of Metro Manila without being flagged down.
Under the number coding system, vehicles cannot pass major roads in Metro Manila from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., depending on the last digit of their license plates.
Covered by the number coding on Monday are vehicles with plate numbers ending in 1 and 2; 3 and 4 on Tuesdays; 5 and 6 on Wednesdays; 7 and 8 on Thursdays; and 9 and 0 on Fridays. —Joel Locsin/KG, GMA News
