NBI busts married couple for Halloween porn film try

The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) have arrested a married couple in Manila for their alleged involvement in an attempt to make a pornographic film, a report on GMA's “24 Oras” said Saturday.

According to the NBI's Anti-Human Trafficking Division (AHTRAD), the male suspect supposedly received P15,000 in marked money as downpayment after agreeing to have his wife filmed while having sex with a foreigner.

They added that the suspects — identified only as call center agents — were supposed to receive another P15,000 at the end of shooting.

The male suspect said they wanted to try it out since they had an agreement with the foreigner that his wife's identity will be concealed.

“Ang sinabi nung ano [customer] namin kanina na parang may maskara ho dahil Halloween nga. Kaya parang napapayag kami. Malaking pagsisi dahil nandito kami ngayon,” the suspect explained.

Meanwhile, NBI AHTRAD investigator David Gullo said the couple face stiff penalties if found guilty of violating the law against human trafficking.

“Medyo mabigat ang ipapataw na kaparusahan dito. Siya ay paparusahan ng habambuhay na pagkabilanggo at pagmumultahin ng 'di bababa sa P2 million at 'di nanan tataas ng P5 million,” Gullo said.

Authorities also recovered the suspects' text messages, which clearly show them offering their services. The messages will be used as evidence. — Andrei Medina/JDS, GMA News
