NBI rescues 8 women from suspected Caloocan prostitution den
National Bureau of Investigation agents rescued eight women – three of them believed to be minors – from a suspected prostitution den in Caloocan City, a radio report said Friday.
Four suspected operators of the establishment were arrested in the operation, radio dzBB's Glen Juego reported.
The NBI Anti-Human Trafficking Division said the establishment was located in the city's Dagat-Dagatan area.
NBI AHTRAD head Atty. Eric Nuqui said their initial findings showed the operators would allow customers to choose the girls.
Customers would then be allowed to bring out the girls to a hotel for P2,000.
After gathering its findings, the NBI arranged for a sting operation where an undercover agent posed as a customer. — Joel Locsin/LBG, GMA News
