LOOK: Pinoys sleep over at bus terminal, airport to get ride to provinces
Several Filipinos spent Sunday night and early Monday in bus terminals and at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport in hopes of getting a ride to their home provinces as the holiday exodus continued to peak.
At the Araneta Bus Terminal in Quezon City, several commuters slept on benches, hoping to line up early for trip tickets, radio dzBB's James Agustin reported.
Photos tweeted by dzBB's Agustin showed commuters keeping their baggage close to them while they slept.

At the Domestic Airport (Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 4), dzBB's Manny Vargas reported passengers wary of heavy traffic checking in early for their flights to the provinces.

But the dzBB report said the exodus is expected to peak further Monday night and Tuesday as people who took leaves from their jobs try to find rides to their home provinces.
