Fire hits old City College of Manila building in Manila

A fire of undetermined origin razed the old building of the City College of Manila in Manila's Escolta district before dawn Wednesday.

 

Firefighters had a hard time fighting the blaze, GMA News' Hadji Rieta tweeted.

 

The fire reached the third alarm before 4 a.m.

 

A photo tweeted by GMA's Rieta showed the blaze was from the building's eighth floor.
