Adult diapers to be issued for MMDA aides at Nazarene feast, papal visit

For the Feast of the Black Nazarene and possibly the papal visit, adult diapers may prove to be Metropolitan Manila Development Authority constables' best friends.

 

MMDA Chairman Francis Tolentino said Wednesday this is for constables assigned to the event venues who need to answer the call of nature but may not have access to portalets.

 

"Ite-testing natin sa (Pista ng) Nazareno. Kung uubra, gagamitin natin sa papal visit," Tolentino said in an interview on dzBB radio.

 

He said the first batch of adult diapers will be issued to 2,000 constables assigned to help secure the Feast of the Black Nazarene.

 

The MMDA constables at the Nazarene feast will start guarding the devotees Thursday evening during the vigil at the Quirino Grandstand.
