LOOK: Pinoy ‘Zacchaeus’ climbs tree to see Pope Francis
A man may have found a way to catch a glimpse of Pope Francis while the Catholic Church's supreme head was on his way to Malacañang on Friday morning to pay a courtesy call on President Benigno Aquino III.
Similar to what the biblical tax collector Zacchaeus did to see Jesus, this man climbs, not a sycamore fig-tree though but a mango tree, to have a glimpse of the Pope.
GMA News reporter Mav Gonzales' posted on her Twitter account a picture of this "Pinoy Zacchaeus."

In the Bible, Zacchaeus is a wealthy chief tax collector in Jericho and is mentioned in Luke 19:1-10.
Because he was short, Zacchaeus climbed a sycamore fig-tree to be able to see Jesus. — Kathryn Mae Tubadeza/LBG, GMA News
