30 hurt in Pandacan, Manila after SUV plows into crowd

Around 30 people were injured in Manila's Pandacan district midnight Sunday after a sport-utility vehicle plowed into a crowd.

 

The incident occurred along Aladdin Street in Manila's Pandacan district, radio dzBB's Henry Herdillo reported, where the vehicles driver had attended a fiesta.

 

The driver was said to be a balikbayan not familiar with the streets. The driver also allegedly had imbibed alcoholic drinks and had tried to flee the scene.
