5 QC roads to undergo road reblocking this weekend

Motorists may want to avoid five roads in Quezon City this weekend due to repair and reblocking work there, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority said Friday.

The MMDA said the repair work by the Department of Public Works and Highways will start 10 p.m. Friday and finish at 5 a.m. Monday.

It said the roads covered by this weekend's repair include:

along Mindanao Avenue from Mindanao Boundary to Old Sauyo Road, fourth inner lane;
along Commonwealth Avenue, Litex Pedestrian Overpass to LP Machine Works, third lane;
along Batasan Road from DSWD to Payatas Road, first inner lane;
along Congressional Avenue Extension before Our Lady Court Subdivision to Luzon Avenue, third lane; and
along C.P. Garcia Avenue from Baluyot Street to H.R. Ocampo, second lane.
