Fire hits Pasig City warehouse

A fire of undetermined origin hit a warehouse in Pasig City before dawn Saturday.

The fire razed the warehouse of Universal Robina Corp. starting 3 a.m., radio dzBB's Manny Vargas reported.

It had reached the second alarm as of 5 a.m., the dzBB report quoted the local Bureau of Fire Protection as saying.

No one was initially reported hurt in the fire.

Photos tweeted by dzBB's Vargas showed thick smoke from the warehouse in Bagong Ilog.

The roof reportedly collapsed while thick smoke greeted firefighters.

Inside the warehouse were soya, feeds and reject products.
