Taguig student in hospital after alleged beating from a teacher

A seven-year-old elementary student has spent the last seven days in a hospital after her teacher allegedly wrung her hair and then slammed her head onto a hard surface.

 

Doctors are monitoring the pupil's condition at the Taguig Pateros District Hospital after the student vomited days before her confinement, GMA's "24 Oras" reported Wednesday.

 

The girl's mother said the child previously complained about one of her teachers, who allegedly pinched and slapped her for rowdiness.

 

According to the Taguig Elementary School, the child got her injuries from a fall.
