More than 20 minors caught in raid on bars near DLSU Taft
More than 20 minors were rounded up after they were caught drinking in bars near a university along Taft Avenue in Manila Thursday night.
At least three bars also face sanctions for violating a city ordinance barring such establishments near school premises, radio dzBB reported early Friday.
The raid by the Manila Police District, Office of the Mayor and the Department of Justice stemmed from information about the operation of such bars near schools.
On the other hand, tweets by De La Salle University's The LaSallian indicated some 29 minors were arrested in the Thursday night raid.
According to The LaSallian, one of the minors was from DLSU.
