5 Metro Manila roads to undergo repair, reblocking this weekend

Motorists were advised to avoid five roads in Quezon City this weekend, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority said Wednesday.

 

The MMDA said the Department of Public Works and Highways' reblocking and repairs of the roads are scheduled to start 10 p.m. Friday, March 6, and end at 5 a.m. Monday, March 9.

 

To be closed for repairs are:

 

- along Mindanao Avenue from Road 20 to North Avenue (third lane)

- along Commonwealth Avenue from Commonwealth Market/Villonco Overpass to Bicol Leyte Overpass (third lane from median island)

- along Batasan Road from DSWD to Payatas Road (first inner lane)

- along Congressional Avenue Extension from Tandang Sora Avenue to Luzon Avenue (second lane)

- along C.P. Garcia Avenue from Velasquez St. to Katipunan Avenue (second lane)
