Fewer MRT trains running irk commuters
For the second day in a row, commuters had to endure long lines at Metro Rail Transit stations as only a few trains were up and running on Wednesday.
The first trip went as scheduled at 4:30 a.m. from the North Avenue Station but only two trains were available, with a time interval of nine minutes between trips.
At past 5 a.m., some commuters left the station as security personnel said there was a delay in the coming of the trains.
Commuters were dismayed and irked, saying they just wasted their time at the MRT.
At around 7 a.m., only nine trains were running on the tracks with a waiting time of eight to ten minutes between trips.
