BJMP special tactics team responds to reported riot at Quezon City Jail
At least 10 members of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology Special Tactics and Response (BJMP-STAR) Team wearing body armor were deployed to the Quezon City Jail on Thursday night after a riot reportedly broke out following a series of shots.
A report on GMA News TV's "State of the Nation with Jessica Soho" said that the BJMP-STAR Team went inside the penitentiary at around 9:30 p.m.
A noise, which was believed to be a gunshot, was heard a few minutes after they went in. But no succeeding shots were heard after.

According to the initial report, the inmates heard six shots before the BJMP-STAR responded.
