UP Diliman issues traffic advisory for Sunday’s graduation rites

Jogging and cycling will not be allowed from 1 a.m. to noon on Sunday at the University of the Philippines Diliman campus' Academic Oval, to make way for the graduation rites there.

In a traffic advisory, the UP Diliman Community Affairs said the 104th UP Diliman Commencement Exercises will be held at the University Amphitheater Sunday morning.

"Hindi pahihintulutan ang pag-jogging at pagbibisikleta sa Academic Oval mula 1:00 ng madaling araw hanggang 12:00 ng tanghali," it said.

The car-less oval policy will apply the entire day Sunday at the Academic Oval, it added.

Also, the UP car sticker and UP ID system will be suspended for Sunday.

Only UP e-trikes can go around the Academic Oval to give free rides from parking areas and jeep stops to the Amphitheater.

"Tanging ang mga e-trike lang ng UP ang papahintulutang bumiyahe sa Academic Oval para maghatid ng libreng serbisyo mula sa parking areas at babaan ng jeep patungo sa University Amphitheater," it said. — Joel Locsin/LBG, GMA News
