Plugged-in laptop left unattended, causes fire in Caloocan

A laptop that was left unattended while it was still being charged has caused a fire in Caloocan City, GMA News' "24 Oras" reported on Thursday.

This was confirmed by Fire Supt. Ruel Diaz who also gave the public a reminder not to leave gadgets while they are still plugged for charging.

 

“Huwag natin hayaan o aalis tayo ng matagal tapos hahayaan natin nakasaksak. Ang paalala natin tanggalin para makaiwas tayo sa mga disgrasya,” Diaz said.

 

The fire which reached the third alarm was declared controlled around 11 a.m.
