LOOK: Firefighters put out UST building blaze

The University of Santo Tomas said that the fire at their St. Raymund de Penafort Building (AB/Commerce) was put out Sunday evening, the university said in a Facebook post.

The cause of the fire was still unknown. Nevertheless, the UST thanked firefighters from the Bureau of Fire Protection, as well as volunteer firefighters, for their efforts.

The fire started earlier that evening, at around 9 p.m., Super Radyo dzBB reported.

Meanwhile, the UST suspended Monday classes the St. Raymund de Penafort, though office work would continue.
