Maynilad to deploy water tankers in areas to be affected by service interruptions
Maynilad will deploy 35 water tankers in areas that will be affected by four days of rotating water service interruption scheduled next week, starting on August 10, to give way to a project of the Department of Public Works and Highways.
In an interview on GMA's “Balitanghali” program on Wednesday, Maynilad Media Relations Officer Grace Laxa said the tankers will provide a potable supply of water.
Safe itong pangluto at pang inom,” Laxa said.
The following areas will be affected by the service interruption: Caloocan, Manila, Pasay, Makati Paranaque Muntinlupa, Las Pinas, Cavite City, Bacoor, Imus, Kawit, Rosario and Noveleta.
Laxa said Maynilas is planning to work as fast as it can to prevent delays in the resumption of normal water service.
-Andrei Medina/NB, GMA News
