Number coding in Quezon City lifted on Aug. 19
The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority announced it has lifted the number coding scheme for vehicles traveling on Quezon City roads on Wednesday, August 19.

Under Republic Act 6741, Aug. 19 is a special nonworking holiday in Quezon and Aurora provinces and in Quezon City.
Under MMDA's number coding scheme, motorists are barred from using major roads in Metro Manila during peak hours on weekdays from 7-10 a.m. and 3-7 p.m., depending on the last number of their license plates.
