Ex-cop shot dead in busy Manila street

A former policeman was shot and killed in broad daylight at a busy street in Tondo, Manila on Tuesday morning.

 

A radio dzBB report identified the victim as Salvador Legaspi, currently a barangay kagawad in Barangay 47, Tondo.

 

Radio dzBB's Carlo Mateo reported that Legaspi was shot by a passenger while driving a van along Moriones Street corner Road 10 in Tondo.

The incident happened at past 9 a.m.
