Business as usual, Anthony Taberna’s wife says after shooting incident
The wife of broadcast journalist Anthony Taberna said that it's "business as usual" at their newly opened cafe even after it was fired upon by unidentified gunmen early Friday.
In a comment on the GMA News' Facebook page, Rossel Taberna thanked those who extended their concern after the incident.
"Maraming salamat po sa mga nagmamalasakit sa amin," she wrote. "Business as usual po at bukas po kami kahit po ngayon."
She added: "Ito po ay isa lamang pagsubok sa napakaganda naming simula."
Two men wearing hats and jackets, with two companions driving separate motorcycles, fired at Taberna's Ka Tunying's Cafe along Visayas Avenue in Quezon City.
Earlier reports said the coffee shop -- which opened only this week -- was closed when the shooting happened at around 2 a.m.
No one was reported hurt during the incident.
