Fire hits Eastwood Mall basement

(Updated 2:05 p.m.) A fire hit Eastwood Mall in Libis, Quezon City late Wednesday morning.

In a flash report, radio dzBB cited initial information, saying the fire at the basement of the mall is currently on third alarm.

Later, GMA News' Mike Fajatin reported on Balitanghali that the fire at the fourth level of the basement parking started 10:33 a.m.

It was declared fire out by 12:45 p.m., he added, quoting information from the Bureau of Fire.

According to the BFP, the fire was caused by faulty electrical in one of the cars parked there, the report said.

Two cars were burned in the incident, Fajatin said in a separate tweet.
