Fire razes Project 8 home Sunday morning

A brief but destructive fire razed a two-story home at the Congressional Village in Project 8, Quezon City early Sunday morning, Super Radyo dzBB's James Agustin reported.

The fire started at 2:10 a.m., reached the second alarm, and was then put out at 3:25 a.m.

No was injured in the fire, while property damage was estimated at P500,000.

According to Quezon City Fire Marshal Supt. Jesus Fernandez, the fire started at the home's second floor, which was used for storage.

Meanwhile, arson investigators are still trying to discover how the fire started. — DVM, GMA News
