About two million people are expected to flock to the Manila North Cemetery, while 500,000 people may troop to Manila South Cemetery for the All Saints' Day weekend, Unang Balita reported on Friday.
At 54 hectares, the North Cemetery is the biggest in the Philippines, and management expects that the bulk of the people will arrive on Sunday, All Saints' Day, to visit the tombs of their departed loved ones, a report by Susan Enriquez said.
Management has already set up steel barriers to facilitate queues for women, men, and seniors and persons with disabilities.
Tables for security inspections have also been set up. Visitors are not allowed to bring in sharp objects, liquor, items for gambling, thinner, loud speakers, and pets.
Police were already deployed at the main gate to provide security.
Visitors intending to spend the night at the cemetery will be allowed starting Friday, the report said.

Meanwhile, at the Manila South Cemetery, seven stations of the Manila Police District have been set up inside the cemetery, a report of Rhea Santos said.
The police will be on 24-hour duty beginning Friday until Nov. 2 for the clearing operations.
Visitors were reminded not to bring in sharp and flammable objects, as well as loud speakers and items used for gambling.
"100 percent ready na ang Manila South," Agnes Mendez, officer-in-charge of the cemetery, said.
Tents for public service have already been set up at the main gate to provide medical and social services to visitors.
Those who need assistance in locating the tombs of their departed loved ones may also seek help at the desk set up by the city hall by the entrance, the report said. Information is also available via the Manila City Hall website.
Painting and cleaning of tombs will be allowed until Thursday, the report said. —KG, GMA News
