Chop-chop victim found in Makati City

A chopped up body of a woman was found at around 9 p.m. on Tuesday on the third floor of a house in Barangay Pio del Pilar in Makati City.

GMA News' Athena Imperial reported Wednesday on Unang Balita that the victim's daughter asked her stepfather, Taiwanese Kuo Yuan-Chang also known as Tony Kuo, for the whereabouts of her mother last Monday.

Kuo told her that her mother left the house without asking permission from him.

But she began to worry when the day passed without seeing her mother.

She said that on Monday evening she dreamed about her mother asking for help while being locked up in the stock room of their house.

According to her, she and her sibling went to the stock room on the third floor at around dawn on Tuesday and saw their stepfather busy working on something they couldn't figure out. They decided to turn back and left him alone.

At about 8 p.m. on Tuesday, they decided to enter the stock room while Kuo was talking to some relatives in their sala.

There was foul odor coming from the stock room. They pulled a bed sheet there and saw a human body part.

They immediately asked for help from barangay officials and the police.

Kuo was brought to the police station where he admitted killing his wife, chopping her up and keeping parts of her body in different parts of the house.

Kuo is being held at the Makati Police Headquarters as police prepare a parricide charge against him. — BAP/LBG/KG, GMA News
