Makati police recover more body parts of woman killed by husband

Police recovered on Thursday more body parts of a woman who was mutilated by her Taiwanese husband allegedly because of jealousy, said Oscar Oida in a report for GMA 7's "24 Oras."

The police searched the house of the victim, Rowena Cobalida Kuo, and retrieved the body parts from the septic tank. Two days earlier, her children found her remains inside the stock room of the same house.

Kuo's daughter, Joanne Jane Tiongco, said the suspect, Yuan-Chang Kuo, told her where he hid the missing body parts.

"Pinuntahan ko po siya kanina para tanungin, sinabi niya ang totoo, kung saan niya hinulog ang mga bones," Tiongco said. "Sinabi niya talaga na kaya niya tinanggal ang toilet dun sa may third floor is dun niya hinulog ang bones."

Investigating police officer Bernardo Bacalso said they will use the mutilated body parts as evidence on how the Taiwanese brutally killed his wife.

"Makikita nyo naman kahit isang daliri pinagpuputol," Bacalso said.

Yuan-Chang earlier claimed that he killed his wife because she was seeing another man.  — Virgil Lopez, BAP, GMA News
