Immigration bureau issues lookout order vs. suspects in Edgel Joy death

The Bureau of Immigration has issued a lookout order against the four suspects in the death of casino executive Edgel Joy Durolfo last month.

Durolfo's fiance Rodney Ynchausti along with Paulo Egoc, Molo Hwang, and Josiebell Lim Uy were placed in the bureau's lookout bulletin list.

Last week, the family of Durolfo filed murder charges against the four, who were with Solaire assistant manager on the night that she died.

Durolfo, 25 and an assistant manager in the high-end establishment, died in a hospital on February 26, a day after she and her friends partied at a room in Solaire. Hwang and Lim Uy were also reportedly employees of the casino.

In his affidavit, Ynchausti said he and Durolfo arrived at the place around 9 p.m. on February 25 ahead of their friends. He admitted that both of them took the illegal drug ecstacy.

Durolfo died on the afternoon of February 26 at the San Juan de Dios Hospital, hours after she was brought there by Ynchausti. According to reports, she was badly bruised and unconscious when rushed to the hospital.

Evangel Durolfo, the victim's mother, suspected foul play because of the bruises she saw on Durolfo's body and also on Ynchausti's arms.

Durolfo's official cause of death, as stated by her death certificate, is asphyxia by strangulation. The police has yet to release findings of its own autopsy. —JST, GMA News
