Fire hits 200 houses in Taguig City

One person died after fire struck 200 houses in Barangay Tuktukan, Taguig City early Thursday morning, reported Luisito Santos for Super Radyo's DZBB.

Vonne Aquino, in a report for GMA's "Unang Balita," said the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) is investigating the cause of the fire, which reached fifth alarm.

The cost of damage was pegged by authorities at P300,000. As of 2 a.m., the BFP said the fire was under control.

The BFP declared fire out by 5:21 a.m. As of posting time, authorities have yet to release the identity of the fatality. — BAP, GMA News
