Fire hits Parañaque condo building

A fire hit a condominium building in Baclaran, Parañaque early Friday morning, Sam Nielsen reported for Super Radyo's dzBB.

The fire that hit Chateau De Baie Condominium reached the third alarm.

Some residents of the building had to be evacuated because thick smoke had spread to other floors.

Officials said the fire started in a room on the 19th floor.

Two women, who were reported to have been trapped on the same floor, have been rescued.

Meanwhile, a fire volunteer had to be treated as he experienced shortness of breath and was injured while trying to help put out the fire.

As of 7:16 a.m., officials said the fire is under control. — BAP/KG, GMA News
