Beep card holders may now load at Bayad Centers

Beep card holders may now load up at select Bayad Centers in Metro Manila, private concessionaire AF Payments Inc. announced on Tuesday.

"After the full implementation in all three rail lines, our second order of business is expanding our loading network," AF Payments president and CEO Peter Maher said in a statement.

The service was initially available in 60 outlets closest to train stations. Among the select centers where card holders may load at are in Tambunting, Villarica, and SM Business Centers. It will then be rolled out to all outlets.

"We are committed to helping commuters save time, and an important part of this is to find convenient loading points outside of the stations. Bayad Center is the perfect starting point because of their huge network, covering virtually all of Metro Manila," Maher said.

According to Bayad Center president and CEO Manuel Lorenzo Tuazon, the partnership with AF Payments will enable them to bring services "closer" to the public.

"The 1.5 million daily train riders are the same people who trust Bayad Center for their bills. With more than 1,000 payment collection sites within Metro Manila alone, we are confident that Bayad Center can help our commuters in their daily grind," Tuazon said.
