Grade 7 teacher shot dead in Caloocan

A high school teacher was shot dead in Camarin, Caloocan City on Monday night.

Police said Lauro Viray, 55, was on board his motorcycle when two gunmen shot him at around 7 p.m.

Viras was a Grade 7 teacher at the Camarin High School.

Investigators said that according to witnesses, the motorcycle-riding gunmen even talked to Viray before shooting him.

The victim's family said the teacher had no known enemies.

Police have yet to determine the motive behind the teacher's killing. —ALG, GMA News
