Police Chief Insp. Rolando Baula said the armed encounter occurred at 11:30 p.m. when two men riding a motorcycle were spotted by roving police officers.
The said men reportedly panicked at the sight of the police that they engaged the officers in a gunfight.
Baula added that they were able to recover two caliber-45 pistols, a cardboard with the words "Tulak ako wag tularan" was also recovered from the one of the men as well as a picture of a woman and a sketch of a street.
The police said the woman could be the target of the men and the cardboard was intended to be placed near the corpse.
An investigation is being conducted to determine the identity of the woman in the picture and the owner of the motorcycle because a motorcycle was reported to have been stolen in Pasay City on Wednesday evening with plate number N-E 90499. — BAP, GMA News
