2 dead, 3 hurt as firewall collapses in Manila
Two teenage siblings died and three more persons were hurt when a firewall collapsed on a house in Manila on Saturday morning.
Initial reports said the two fatalities were aged 14 and 19. The two victims died while being treated in a hospital.
Three persons, one of them identified as Rommel Idio, were rescued alive.
The firewall, located just outside the Manila City Jail at the corner of Oroquieta and Doroteo Jose Streets, collapsed at around 9 a.m. amid monsoon rains in Metro Manila.
