Tondo school receives bomb threat, suspends classes

Classes have been suspended at Jose Rizal Elementary School in Tondo, Manila Tuesday after a bomb threat was received, a News TV Live report said.

A GMA News report said a teacher received a text message around 6 p.m. on Monday that a bomb was planted inside the school.

The school administration immediately coordinated with the 117 emergency team.

Parents immediately fetched their children after learning about the situation.

Members of the Manila Police District Explosives and Ordnance Division have been deployed to inspect the campus.
