Lone gunman kills 4 suspected drug users inside house in Marikina

A lone gunman killed four people inside a house in Marikina City on Sunday night.

Police identified three of the victims as Jesus Martin, 60; Danilo Sernicula, 46; and Rodel Aguilar, 41.

Police said the assailant barged inside the house of Martin in Daang Bakal Street, Barangay Sto, Niño and shot the victims one by one.

The incident happened at around 11 p.m.

Wilfredo Martin said the victims were having a shabu session inside his Uncle Jose's house when they were attacked by the lone gunman.

He said his uncle's home is being used as a drug den for his drug user friends.

Wilfredo said the gunman hit him in the head with the butt of the gun before escaping.

He added that the shooter escaped on a motorcycle being driven by another unidentified man.

Police, meanwhile, said that they have yet to determine if the victims were having a shabu session inside Martin's house.

Investigators said aside from a sachet of shabu recovered from Martin's pocket, they did not recover any drug paraphernalia at the crime scene. —ALG, GMA News
