No significant firecracker, stray bullet incidents in NCR —PNP

No significant incidents caused by fire crackers or stray bullets were reported in the National Capital Region as of Christmas Sunday morning,  the police said.

Under PNP's "Oplan Ligtas Paskuhan 2016," no incidents of people killed or hurt due to firecrackers, stray bullets from indiscriminate firing, and fire due to firecrackers were reported between 6 a.m. to 9 a.m., the PNP said.

A message from the PNP-NCR operation center sent to media said: "All District [Tactical Operations Center] reported no significant incident within their area of responsibility." 

Police districts covered by the report are the Northern Police District, Eastern Police District, Manila Police District, Southern Police District, and the Quezon City Police District. —Joseph Tristan Roxas/LBG, GMA News
