Bulgarian nabbed in Makati City for alleged ATM skimming

A Bulgarian was arrested in Makati City on Saturday afternoon for alleged ATM skimming.

The Southern Police District identified the suspect as Veselin Chudomirov, 49, who temporarily resides at LPL Manor Salcedo Suites Building in Leviste Street, Salcedo Village, Makati City.

Police said Chudomirov was caught in the act of ATM skimming at the BPI ATM unit installed along Salcedo Street, Legaspi Village in Barangay San Lorenzo at around 12:50 p.m.

Police seized 29 pieces of bogus ATM cards and 7-11 reward cards allegedly used by the suspect in ATM skimming.

Charges for violation of Republic Act 8484 or the Access Device Act will be filed against the suspect. —ALG, GMA News
