The modus operandi of the suspects is to entice foreigners to sign up with a porn site. The clients, however, are unaware that they are shown a pre-recorded video conversation.
The police noted that the office space occupied by the alleged cyber sex den was supposedly rented out for online shopping and that the operator's barangay permit was issued for an Internet cafe.
The police personnel failed to arrest the target of the warrant, who was not named as of posting.
Meanwhile, the individuals arrested during the police operation were detained in Camp Karingal and may face violation of provisions under Republic Act 10175 or the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012. — BAP/KG, GMA News
