Patients evacuated as fire hits building near Capitol Medical Center
Patients at the Capitol Medical Center in Quezon City were evacuated after fire broke out in an establishment near the hospital on Saturday night.
Firemen said fire hit Hyundai Motors's service center beside the hospital along Quezon Avenue at 6:57 p.m.
The fire, which started at the building's second floor, reached the Fifth Alarm before it was put out at 7:54 p.m.
Meanwhile, patients of the Capitol Medical Center were temporarily evacuated due to the fire.
Authorities said the hospital's patients were cleared to return after the fire was declared out.
Firemen said no one was hurt from the fire and no vehicles inside the Hyundai service center were damaged. —ALG, GMA News
