Bus conductor kicks responding traffic enforcer
A video recording that shows how a bus conductor kicked a traffic enforcer, who responded to a complaint of a motorcycle rider in Quezon City has gone viral.
In the report of GMA News' Ian Cruz on "24 Oras" on Thursday, motorcycle rider Jhuwan Roe Casidsid asked the help of a traffic enforcer of the Department of Public Order and Safety (DPOS) in Quezon City, Larry Chinel, because the bus cut him off and he almost lost his balance.
Casidsid recorded what transpired between the bus employees and Chinel.
The traffic enforcer arrived and argument started among the three individuals.
Chinel maintained that the bus unloaded a passenger in an unloading zone along a major thoroughfare in Quezon City.
Chinel then decided to ask the assistance of a police officer.
The bus driver and the conductor then boarded the bus that had the name Baclaran Metrolink and plate number AAC 9702.
However, before leaving, the conductor kicked the 61-year-old traffic enforcer.
"Masakit po sa akin 'yun.. bilang naka-uniporme, Sir," said Chinel, who is planning to file a case against the driver and the conductor.
"Tuloy na 'yang kaso na yan para di na mapamarisan.." he said.
DPOS chief of traffic operation division Dexter Cardenas said, "We will file a complaint against the conductor.. doon sa ginawa nila na pagmumura, pambabastos and pananadyak doon sa traffic enforcer namin."
The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board will conduct a hearing regarding this incident on March 15.
