Fire breaks out in Trinoma
A fire has struck a portion of the Trinoma Mall in Quezon City on Monday afternoon, News TV Live reported.
A tweet from radio dzBB's Glen Juego showed the fire near North Avenue which has reached the second alarm, according to SFO4 Albert Flores of the Quezon City Fire Department.

A tweet from TXTFIRE Philippines said the first alarm was raised around 2:25 p.m.

Meanwhile, the Department of Transportation said Metro Rail Transit operations have not been affected as of posting time.

A report on Balitang Pilipinas said that firemen are trying to rescue a trapped employee.
In a statement, Trinoma's management said the fire broke out at a warehouse inside the Landmark building.
"Landmark Department Store (new wing) and TriNoma's North Avenue wing have been evacuated," it said.
