Speeding van hits motorcycle, then drives off like nothing happened

A hit-and-run incident in Quezon City involving a van and a motorcycle was caught on closed-circuit cameras.

Security footage aired Thursday on Cesar Apolinario's report on "24 Oras" showed a white van plowing into the motorcyclist, who was taking a left turn at Barangay Commonwealth toward Payatas.

Before the victim could approach the van's driver, the van instantly sped off.

"'Yun talagang mga driver natin, walang disiplina, binangga na niya, bumagsak na 'yung tao, iniwasan pa niya, hinit-and-run niya," said Arman Viduya, an official Barangay Commonwealth. —Margaret Claire Layug/JST, GMA News
