P6M worth of cash, jewelry stolen from Manila condo
Around P6 million worth of cash and jewelry was stolen from a Victoria de Manila condominium unit Tuesday night.
According to Bam Allegre's report for "Balitanghali" on Wednesday, the robbers carted away P2 million and several pieces of jewelry worth P4 million.
The damaged lock on the unit's door indicated that it was forced open, based on documentation from Scene of the Crime Operatives.
Among the items stolen were two expensive wristwatches — a branded watch and another one studded with real diamonds.
Staff admitted that the high-rise residential building did not have any CCTV cameras installed on the 18th floor where the robbery happened.
The victim, who refused to be interviewed on camera, had no leads to the perpetrators, the TV report said. — Margaret Claire Layug/MDM/KVD, GMA News
