3 vehicles damaged by wall collapse in front of Quirino Memorial Medical Center in QC

Three vehicles were damaged when a wall in front of the Quirino Memorial Medical Center collapsed Thursday night, according to a report by Manny Vargas on Super Radyo dzBB.

The wall, located along P. Tuazon Street in Quezon City, collapsed at around 11 p.m. Thursday, at the height of the heavy rains caused by Tropical Storm Salome, said Police Superintendent Ariel Capocao, commander of the Quezon City Police District Station 8.

No one was injured in the incident, he said.

Parts of the wall fell on three vehicles: a Toyota Innova, a Fortuner, and an Avanza.

Authorities closed one lane of P. Tuazon Street as they conducted clearing operations to extricate the vehicles from the rubble.

At the time of the report, the Toyota Innova had been transferred to the other side of the road. — Nicole-Anne C. Lagrimas/MDM, GMA News
